Trump stands by refugee deal with Australia

Out of respect for Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull  and the Australian people, US President Donald Trump agrees to honor the Obama administration’s commitment to take in 1,250 of the refugees held on Manus Island and Nauru in Papua New Guinea. Their entry will be subject to intense vetting to exclude potential terrorists. This was announced Thursday by White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
