Trump to sign border security bill and declare emergency over wall

President Donald Trump will sign a border security bill to avert a government shutdown but also declare a national emergency to fund his wall. The White House said he would sign the bill as promised, but also take action to bypass Congress and use military funds for a US-Mexico border wall.
Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell announced the plan just before the chamber voted on the compromise bill.  “The President is once again delivering on his promise to build the wall, protect the border, and secure our great country,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement on Thursday.

Worried about the withdrawal of US troops to Iraq. Building a new base there for the troops. But, those troops will be isolated on their bases. Even with air support, a tricky situation. Vastly outnumbered. Could eventually come under siege. Iran isn’t going to permit Western forces to prevent their “manifest destiny,” to the Mediterranean Sea. And, they’ll probably get Russian support.

    Then what?

Ahh. The wall will protect against the zombie apocalypse. Good thinking.
