Trump’s envoys meet Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Protests in Ramallah
A three-member US delegation met Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem Thursday to discuss efforts to promote Israel-Palestinian peace talks, shortly after he returned from meeting with Vladimir Putin in Sochi. Its members, senior aides to President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, Jason Greenblatt and Deputy national security adviser Dina Powell, were next due to visit Ramallah for talks with Mahmoud Abbas and other Palestinian officials. Protesting Palestinians turned out in the street to greet them with abusive signs, such as “Kushner is a Zionist dog.”
