Tunisian soldier shot dead after killing seven comrades

A Tunisian soldier opened fire on colleagues at the Bouchoucha military base in the capital Tunis on Monday, killing a colonel and six others and wounding 15 soldiers,before he was shot dead himself, an army spokesman and a security source said. The attack caused alarm in a city still on edge after Islamist gunmen killed 22 people in a shooting attack on the Bardo national museum in March.
