Turkey calls emergency NATO meeting on terror attacks
NATO’s decision-making body, the North Atlantic Council, meets later Tuesday after Ankara invoked the alliance's Article 4, applicable when member states feel their territorial integrity or security is under threat, after an IS suicide bombing near Turkey's border with Syria that left 32 people dead. Ambassadors of all 28 member countries to attend the Brussels meeting will be asked to approve Turkey’s campaign against the Islamic State and “Kurdish militants.”
