Turkey practices launching its Russian S-400s against US-made F-16 jets

In the face of US warnings, Turkey has begun drilling the operation of the S-400 air defense batteries purchased from Russia against Turkish Air Force US-made F-16 fighter jets. The new S-400 batteries are stationed at the Murted military base 10km west of Ankara. They practiced shooting down F-16s as they made simulated strikes. The Trump administration has threatened Turkey with more sanctions if puts the  Russian air defense system to operational use after becoming the first NATO member to buy it.
