Turkey votes for president and parliament

More than 55 million eligible Turkish voters take part in two elections Sunday, one to choose a president with new expanded authority and a new parliament. President Tayyip Erdogan, who has never lost an election, hopes to win the first round with more than 50 percent of the vote. But he must overcome a solid opposition front to his dictatorial pretensions and a serious economic turn-down.

    A serious “economic turn-down”? Or down-turn? This is great news either way. 🙂 Turkey is on the rocks. Soon, they will be ash.
