Turkey’s Erdogan names ex-advisor to PM as ambassador to Israel

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan announced Wednesday that the country's new ambassador to Israel will be Kemal Okem, a senior diplomat who previously served as advisor to Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and his predecessor Ahmet Davutoglu. The announcement came two days after the Israeli Foreign Ministry named Eytan Naeh as ambassador to Ankara.
