Turkish FM: terrorist who perpetrated Istanbul nightclub massacre identified

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Wednesday morning that his country's security services had identified the terrorist who carried out the New Year's Eve massacre at an Istanbul nightclub in which 39 people were killed and 70 others were wounded. The Turkish authorities released a picture of the terrorist but did not provide his name, citizenship or any other details regarding his identity. Cavusoglu made the statement in an interview with Turkey's Anadolu news agency.
