Turkish military: one killed, three wounded in N. Syria clash
A spokesman for Turkey's military said Wednesday morning that one soldier was killed and three were wounded in a battle with Islamic State fighters in Ziyara, east of al-Rai in northern Syria as Ankara's operation "Euphrates Shield" continues. The announcement also said 18 fighters from the terrorist organization were killed. The previous day, two Turkish soldiers were killed in an attack by the PKK Kurdish underground on a military base in the southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir.
