Turkish police officer killed in PKK roadside bomb attack

A Turkish police officer was killed and several others were wounded on Wednesday when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb in the area of Varto in eastern Turkey. The bomb was detonated by fighters from the PKK Kurdish underground.
