Turkish tanks drive into Kurdish Afrin city, 200,000 civilians flee

As Turkish tanks and APCs took control of Afrin city on Sunday, a bulldozer knocked over the statue of a Kurdish national hero in the town center and troops arrayed Turkish flags on surrounding buildings. Intelligence sources estimate that more than 200,000 civilians have fled the city of a million inhabitants in a swelling stream.
