Turkish troops battle PKK around SE hydroelectric plant

The Turkish military Sunday launched an aerial campaign and land operations against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) after Kurdish fire killed a soldier and injured three other members of the gendarmerie forces guarding a hydroelectric plant in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır’s Kulp district.
