Turkish warplanes strike Kurdish PKK targets in Iraq

The Turkish military carried out air strikes early Tuesday against Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) fighters near Iraq's Sinjar Mountains and in northeastern Syria. The two regions have become "terror hubs", the Turkish army said, for the PKK to channel militants, weapons, bombs and ammunition into Turkey.
