Twitter suspends account linked to Khamenei

A Twitter account linked to Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei was suspended on Friday after posting an apparent call to attack Donald Trump in revenge for the killing last year of top commander Gen. Qasem Soleimani by a US drone. The post featured a depiction of a man resembling the former US president playing golf in the shadow of a large plane or drone. “Vengeance is inevitable” said the caption.
The duration of the Twitter suspension was not stated. The social media giant terminated the Trump account permanently.
