Two arrested in connection with “criminal use of drones” over Gatwick airport
A man and a woman were arrested Friday in connection with the drones that threw Gatwick airport into three days of chaos. Investigation into “the criminal use of drones” to deliberately disrupt the air continued, Sussex Police said, adding there were no indications of terrorism. The airport said it aimed to run at a full schedule on Saturday with 757 flights carrying 124,484 passengers, but delays are inevitable. The airport has reportedly deployed the Israeli-developed Drone Dome system, which can detect drones using radar and jam communications between the drone and its operator, enabling authorities to take control of and land the drone.
This was not terrorism, only an Islamic joke? Anyhow, appreciated, ‘coze people have a chance to talk of something else, not only Brexit Brexit all day long.
Instead of telling us if they think it is organized anti-west terrorism, or just some crazy idiots, just tell us if the names of the two are John and Mary or if its Muhammed and Fatma.
@Joan… absolutely right!!! they did not mention the names of the two criminals. we can call them criminals because they committed crimes. I wonder why their names were not published….
