Two car bombs explode outside stadium in Istanbul; at least 29 dead
A pair of car bombs blew up next to Besiktas stadium, located near Taksim Square in central Istanbul, at about 9:30pm on Saturday evening about an hour after the end of a football match between two Turkish teams. One of the bombs blew up next to a bus carrying policemen. Initial reports said at least 29 people were killed and 170 were wounded. Israel's Foreign Ministry said that it did not know whether any Israelis were among the casualties.
