Two Chinese fighters buzz US spy plane over East China Sea

The incident, in which Chinese fighters buzzed a US WC-135 Constant Phoenix collecting airborne samples of nuclear explosions, occurred Friday over the East China Sea amid disagreement between Washington and Beijing on how to confront North Korea. Beijing, furthermore, is pressing for its full sovereignty in the East China Sea in a dispute with US allies, such as the Philippines.
