Two Egyptian soldiers killed in clash with Jihadists near Gaza

Heavy gunfire rocked Mahdiya village on the Sinai-Gaza border Friday as Egyptian troops backed by armored vehicles fought the Al Qaeda-affiliated Ansar Beit-Maqdis. At least two Egyptian soldiers were killed and eight injured in the operation to capture Shadi el-Manaei, a mastermind of previous attacks on Egyptian military targets.
