Two Israeli Arabs under arrest, suspected of trying to join ISIS
Two Arab citizens of Israel were arrested recently by the country's security forces on suspicion of a series of security-related offenses including contact with a foreign agent, support of a terrorist organization and arms trading. The two, a 24-year old from Nazareth and a 35-year-old from Shfaram, are said to have viewed Islamic State propaganda on the Internet, been in contact with ISIS activists in Syria and Turkey, and planned join the terrorist organization's forces. The arrests were disclosed on Thursday when the suspects were brought before a Haifa district court judge who extended the arrests until the legal procedures against the two men are completed.
