Two Israeli border guards injured in Palestinian stabbing attack

A Palestinian terrorist burst into an Israeli border guard checkpoint at Lions Gate in the Old Cit of Jerusalem early Monday and stabbed two of the officers, injuring one seriously. The assailant from the East Jerusalem Jabal Muqabr neighborhood, took advantage of the changing of the guard for his surprise attack.. One of the injured officers shot him dead.
