Two Israelis among 157 killed in Ethiopian Airlines air crash
Ethiopian Airlines spokesman confirmed on Sunday that there were no survivors among the 149 passengers and eight-member crew when the ET302 Boeing 737-800 Max crashed on Sunday, 82 km southeast of Addis Ababa. Two of the passengers from 33 countries on the flight bound for Nairobi were Israelis. According to Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde Gebremariam, the plane had no technical problems and the pilot had an “excellent flying record.” He had asked for permission to turn back shortly after takeoff from Addis.
