Two men in critical condition after Palestinian shooting
Two of the three Israeli men in their 20s, who were hit at the Tapuah junction in Samaria on Sunday by a burst of gunfire from a Palestinian vehicle, are fighting for their lives at Beilinson hospital. The soldiers manning the junction fired at the escaping vehicle without stopping it. A large military contingent is combing through the nearby Palestinian village of Hawara, in search of the drive-by gunmen.
Reacting to a new wave of terrorist attacks, the IDF is boosting its deployment in Judea and Samaria to ward off a new escalation of violence, likely instigated by Hamas.
