Two men try to abduct serviceman outside RAF base in Britain
A soldier serving at the Royal Air Force's Marham base in Norfolk, eastern Britain who went out for a jog early Wednesday evening outside the base was attacked by two men, including one with a knife, who tried to abduct him. The attackers fled the scene after the soldier put up a struggle. The two men are said to be of Middle Eastern origin and between the ages of 20 and 30. The base is home to a squadron of Tornado fighters that has been bombing Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq. A police spokesman in Norfolk said the incident is considered a botched abduction and that terrorism could not be discounted as a motive.
