Two more bombs were defused at Bangkok shrine
Two more bombs were de-activated after a large bomb packed on a motorcycle outside killed at least 15 people and injured 80 others at a crowded Hindu shrine, popular with tourists, in central Bangkok Monday. The Erawan shrine is near a busy intersection and business and shopping center. There was no claim of responsibility. Thailand has until now known only low-scale terrorism – nothing on this scale, even from the Muslim separatists in the south. Police and army officers have sealed off the bomb scene.
