Two Russian warships armed with cruise missiles approaching Syria
Two warships belonging to Russia's Black Sea fleet have left their home port of Sevastopol and are making their way to Syria. The Serpukhov and the Zelyony Dol, which are both armed with Kalibr cruise missile batteries, will reach the Mediterranean on Wednesday afternoon and drop anchor off Syria's coast. Kalibr missiles travel at a speed of Mach 2.5 and have a range of 2,500 kilometers.
