Two Saudi tankers with oil for US among 4 ships “sabotaged” in UAE waters

Two of the four cargo ships sabotaged on Sunday, May 12, off Fujairah were Saudi oil tankers, said Saudi energy minister Khalid al-Falih on Monday. The minister called the attack a threat to the security of global oil supplies

    Why is the USA bothering to buy oil from the Saudis anymore?

      It’s simple, . . . if we quit, . . . Saudi becomes a closer Iran than the one already there. We can always absorb the oil in our economy, . . . theirs would go down the tubes if it were not for US purchases. Think of it as a foreign aid program that gets a usable return on the investment.

    I heard we don’t need to import as we are the leader in oil production..what’s the truth? why are we “fracking” all over america…do se sell/give it to some other country and buy from saudi arabia? is it why gas is about 3 $ instead of a dollar?
