Two Syrian anti-air missiles fired against Israel aircraft
IDF planes striking Syrian army positions Tuesday, after a Syrian shell strayed across the Golan border, were attacked by two Syrian S-200 missiles. They returned to base unscathed – in contradiction to the Syrian claim that they downed an Israeli plane and a drone. In the past ten days, four shells have strayed over the Golan border from the Syrian civil war, causing no casualties or damage. Each has drawn an Israel military response.
