Two terrorist attacks strike southern Turkey; dozens of casualties reported

A pair of bombings in southern Turkey left dozens of casualties on Wednesday evening. In the first attack, a car bomb blew up at a hospital in the city of Mardin, with initial reports saying at least five people were killed. Several minutes later, a roadside bomb was detonated as a police vehicle passed by in Diyarbakir. The PKK Kurdish underground took responsibility for both attacks.
