UAE: Iran violates both letter and spirit of the nuclear accord
The United Arab Emirates foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahayan told the U.N. General Assembly Friday that Iran is violating both the “letter and spirit” of the 2015 nuclear deal and demanded enhanced controls on its program. “Tehran’s interference was an obstacle to solving all the crises besetting the Arab world, said the UAE minister, and charged Iran with sponsoring terrorism in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait.
