UK chief of staff is on a visit to Israel

Gen. Sir Nicholas Carter, Chief of the UK General Staff, kicked off his visit to Israel on Monday by meetings with his Israeli counterparts, followed by a tour of the northern border. He took part in a cornerstone laying ceremony at the Israel Air Force Ramat Aviv base for an “Arrow of Generations” center,which symbolizes IDF’s ties with world armies, including the British armed forces. Gen. Carter has also scheduled a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Center in Jerusalem.
