UK Jewish leaders spurn Labor leader’s “apology”
“Enough is enough,” Jewish groups have said in a letter accusing opposition Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn of failing to tackle anti-Semitism. To quell the commotion long building up over the virulent anti-Semitism inside his party, Corbyn tried saying he was “sincerely sorry” for the pain caused by “pockets of anti-Semitism” in the Labor Party. He also offered to meet representatives of the Jewish community to “rebuild” confidence in his party. However, the organizations have turned him down and are planning a protest outside Parliament. The letter – drawn up by the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council – said there has been a “repeated institutional failure” to properly address anti-Semitism. It rails against Corbyn’s apparently supportive message to the creator of a vicious anti-Semitic cartoon and his attendance of pro-Hizballah rallies. It accuses him of being unable to “seriously contemplate anti-Semitism, because he is so ideologically fixed within a far-left worldview that is instinctively hostile to mainstream Jewish communities.” Luciana Berger, a prominent Jewish Labor member, posted a message on Monday about the anti-Semitic cartoon: I asked the Leader’s Office for an explanation about this Facebook post first thing this morning. I’m still waiting for a response.

Simple, Anti-Semitism calls for the death of all Jews, that is a whole lot more than just being anti-a-particular-group. But then again, I don’t believe you have ever had to run for your life because of the colour of your skin or your religion, so what can be expected of you understanding anything other than what the media tells you.
