UK PM Cameron interrupts holiday over Syrian chemical crisis

He will chair National Security Council meeting expected Wednesday. UN inspectors head for alleged Syrian chemical site Monday, Aug. 26. Bashar Assad said in an interview with the Russian Izvestia that a US attack on his country would end in “failure.”  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he was deeply concerned over possible US action in Syria. French foreign minister Lauren Fabius said the West will decide on reaction to Syrian crisis in the “coming days.”
