Ukraine denies Russian claims to have killed 5 “saboteurs” who crossed the border

Russian officials said on Monday that five Ukrainian “saboteurs” had crossed the border near Rostov to stage an attack. They also accused Ukraine of cross-border shelling that destroyed an FSB border facility. Kyiv firmly denied both charges, voicing fear that Moscow was preparing the way for an invasion. The UK PM’s office in Downing Street warns Russia will mount an invasion into Ukraine with parts of Vladimir Putin’s plan having already begun.
