Ukraine leader orders relaunch of “anti-terror operation”
Ukraine's acting president Oleksander Turchinov called for the relaunch of an anti-terrorist operation Tuesday in the east of the country after what he claimed to be the "brutally tortured" body of a local politician was found near the separatist-controlled city of Slaviansk. Turchinov said Volodymyr Rybak, a member of Turchinov's Batkivshchyna party, had recently been abducted by "terrorists” with full Russian support. The Ukrainian leader waited for US Vice President Joe Biden to end his visit to Kiev before leveling the latest latest charge and ordering armed action in violation of the Geneva accord.
