Ukrainians wake up Sunday asking who is their government

After three months of conflict between government and protesters and at least 88 dead, the whereabouts of president Viktor Yanukovych are unknown since he fled Kiev Saturday and was dismissed by parliament. His arch-foe, the controversial former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko, gave an impassioned appeal to a crowd in Kiev central square to embrace change. She spoke from a wheel chair straight after her release from two years of confinement in jail. A group of protesters earlier claimed charge of the presidency office building. After a 24-hour roller skater of events, the fate of the nation of 46 million, strategically important for Europe, Russia and the United States, is up in the air.
