UN: 72-hour ceasefire in Yemen starts Wednesday night

The UN envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed Tuesday announced a 72-hour ceasefire in Yemen, after he received commitments from all of the country’s warring factions. The cessation of hostilities is to begin before Wednesday midnight and may be renewed after the initial three-day period, the UN said.
