UN Gaza worker abetted Hamas military wing

Wahid Abdullah Borsh, 38, from Jabalya, in the Gaza Strip was charged before the Beersheba district court Tuesday with misusing his position as an engineer at the UN Development Program in order to funnel international resources to the Hamas terrorist organization’s military wing. He was accused of diverting resources provided by the world organization for the reconstruction of war-damaged homes and using them for building improvements at the private residences of Hamas high-ups and disguising their illicit operations  After he was arrested in July, Borsh provided the Shin Bet with details of Hamas’ infrastructure projects, including terror tunnels, and named fellow Hamas collaborators who were planted as employees inside the UN Works and Refugees Agency (UNWRA) in the Gaza Strip.
