Uri Shitreet gets heavy sentence, seven years, over Holyland affair

Former Jerusalem City Engineer Uri Shitreet came out of the High Court hearing of eight appeals in the Holyland affair with the heaviest sentence of seven years prison confirmed. Other appellants had their sentences reduced, including another former Jerusalem Mayor, Uri Lupliansky, whose jail sentence was commuted to six months community service since he collected bribes for donating to charity.
