US about to send reinforcements to Syria, Iraq for ISIS war

A White House spokesman said that US President Barack Obama will convene an urgent meeting of the National Security Council at CIA headquarters on Wednesday to discuss the war on ISIS amid the administration's effort to reinforce special forces troops on Syrian soil. Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said this week that he is working on a plan that will be presented to the president under which the US will also significantly reinforce its troops in Iraq to prepare for the capture of the city of Mosul from ISIS.
