The United States and Canada agreed Wednesday to close their 5,500-mile border to “all nonessential travel” as the deadly coronavirus outbreak continues to spread. All 50 states and the District of Columbia have confirmed cases. More than 110 Americans infected with the virus have died of the epidemic, a toll expected to rise quickly.
