US and Israel accused of alleged drone strike near Baghdad

The claim applied to the huge blast at the pro-Iranian Popular Mobilization Forces last week and it was based on leaked findings of a Baghdad government inquiry. A PMF spokesman said Wednesday that intelligence showed the US had bought four Israeli drones earlier this year to work as part of the US fleet in Iraq and target militia positions. Its commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a close ally of Iranian Al Qods chief Qassem Soleimani,  said the PMF would from now on use “all means at its disposal to deter and prevent such attacks on our positions”.  An American official said the US had no evidence or credible intelligence that Israel was behind the two most recent blasts.
