US: Assad may have renewed chemical attacks in Idlib

 The State Department said on Tuesday that the Syrian government might be renewing its use of chemical weapons, citing a suspected chlorine attack on Sunday in northwestern Syrian Idlib, the last rebel stronghold against the Assad regime. If so, millions of civilians would be at risk and the US and its allies would “respond quickly and appropriately.” President Donald Trump’s administration has twice bombed Syria over Assad’s use of chemical weapons.
