US Atty-Gen Sessions: Threats on Jewish sites “unacceptable”

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions said on Monday that recent bomb threats against Jewish groups are “unacceptable” and a “very serious and destructive practice.” Earlier, at least 11 Jewish community centers and Jewish schools across the US received bomb threats, the fifth wave in less than two months, causing the evacuation of some 60 Jewish sites. In no case were bombs discovered. Two Jewish cemeteries were moreover vandalized in recent weeks in St. Louis and Philadelphia. The White House press secretary said: “The President continues to condemn these and any other form of anti-Semitic or hateful acts in the strongest terms.”
