US-backed SDF and Kurds launch offensive on ISIS

A new offensive against Islamic State remnants in Syria was launched Saturday by the Syrian Democratic Forces and Kurdish YPG militia at their hideouts in two villages in the eastern province of Deir Ez-Zour near Abu Kamal.  Anti-ISIS western coalition forces provided air support, along with heavy artillery fire from US Marines. The ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is believed to have fled to Iraq ahead of the attack.

Al-Baghdadi probably fled down thru Israel, spirited away by his buddies, just as his White Helmet buddies did. First he will be debriefed by the IDF, a little R+R at Eilat, then perhaps down to Yemen with his fresh mission. NOT KIDDING
