US Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Smiley confirmed wounded in Kandahar attack

The insider attack that killed two top Afghan officials last Thursday in Kandahar province also injured US Army Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Smiley, a Resolute Support spokesman has confirmed. He is recovering in hospital from a gunshot wound. The top US military commander in Afghanistan was also present during the attack by an Afghan bodyguard, but was unharmed. This attack, claimed by Taliban, was the closest ever to seriously harming a US general.  Smiley is the commander of the Training and Advise and Assist Command-South (TAAC-South) advising Afghan security forces in southern Afghanistan. He had assumed command in late June. He is in command of the California National Guard’s 40th Infantry, which is one of the lead units in Kandahar.

These type of Muslim terrorists are the people whom Germany, Spain and the entire EU want to invite into their own countries to replace their own population whom their leaders detest and despise. I would add Justin Trudeau of Canada to the long list of terrorist cheerleaders signalling virtue by allowing terrorists into Canada and honoring them in his political decisions.
