US CENTCOM chief: Russian S-400s in Syria would threaten US troops

The possible activation of Russian S-400 air defense missiles in Syria would pose an increased threat to American troops, Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, nominee to head US Central Command (CENTCOM), said during his confirmation hearing in the US Senate on Tuesday. “The S-400, once activated, will increase the threat to our forces and our coalition partners flying over Syria,” he said. “We are still working out on how it is going to be executed.”

Russia has deployed S-400 mobile missile batteries at the Khmeimim Airbase in Syria but has not yet activated the systems

I wonder how threatening S-400 truly is in a time of inexpensive small drowns. The US or Israel can send numerous waves of small drowns, each holding as much explosives as it can carry, to attack the AA radar. If the radar is destroyed the problem is solved. But if the AA battery shoot the drowns down then it will have used all or most of its AA missiles, which will leave the targets under its defense (and the S-400 itself) vulnerable to Aircraft fighters/bombers attack.

I think the drone swarm attack was tested on the main RF base back in Jan. As reported here, 13 drones were sent, all downed. Some were shot down by smaller missiles (not S300). Electronic jamming blocked the others, so no S300 missiles used for those small aircraft.

Electronic warfare is a constant game of measures and countermeasures. So far the mere threat of turning on the S-400 has been enough. The Russians do not want to let the Americans analyse the S-400s electronic emissions before they are used in anger.

jim “faggot” carrol, tough talk, huh? Don’t worry about Israel- we play a positive role in the End Times. Your enemy, the Russians, are mentioned in the End Times, meanwhile, your country is not. Time to tuck your tail (your fag dick) and get off the computer.
