US earmarks $705m for Israel’s missile defense system

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman confirmed Monday that the Trump administration had allocated $705m in funding aid for the continued production of Israel’s three-tier missile defense system – Iron Dome, David’s Sling for intermediate missiles and the Arrow 3 high-altitude anti-ballistic missile system. The minister noted that this sum was the largest the US had ever granted for Israel’s missile defense program.

The U.S. themselves are a big beneficiary of the Israeli missile defense program. To date, the U.S. doesn’t possess a domestic upper tier missile defense and seems to be eyeing the Arrow 3, respectively an U.S. adaptation. Hence it makes perfect sense to sponsor the Israeli testbed.

President Trump continues to strengthen the US, Israel relationship standing shoulder to shoulder amidst tensions in the region. Rightly so for two true allies.
The UN is wishing Obama was still around.
    God bless America and Israel.

If missiles could save israel there would be no reason for Christ to come and stand on the Mt of Olives to destroy israels enemies in Armageddon.

A tiny nation against nations. It has proven from a humble beginning that survival takes precedence in the face of adversaries.
The notion to improvise has taken them thus far and one they have mustered. While nations wage egoism against them, they stand poised to defend; the one stand they have learnt to live with ever since nationhood.
