US embassy move to Jerusalem still at beginning stages at White House
The White House announced Sunday night “the beginning stages” of even discussing the move of the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The comment by White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer came shortly before President Trump held a phone conversation with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Last week Spicer told a press conference that details on the embassy’s move in response to a campaign pledge would come soon and he told reporters to “stay tuned.”
Jordan’s King Abdullah and Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas again warned Washington Sunday not to go through with the embassy transfer to Jerusalem.
