US evacuates non-essential staff from Iraq amid rising threats

The US State Department on Wednesday ordered non-essential American civilian personnel to leave Iraq immediately following information of an escalating threat to their lives. This advisory was issued a few hours after Washington announced that US forces in Iraq had been placed on alert for a pro-Iranian proxy attack.

    Uncle Sam is overstretched and weak. Those 8000 occupying soldiers have no business in Iraq.
